The martial arts school State of Flow Self Defence offers a Girl Power Workshop, aimed at equipping girls aged 12 and over with skills to protect themselves while out enjoying life, will be held on Saturday 3 December.
The workshop takes place at Life Retreat Studio at Lourensford Estate from 10:30 to 12:30. The cost is R250 per person. The session will include awareness and avoidance, boundaries and consent, drugs, how to handle emergencies and practical self-defence techniques, including rape defences.
