World Book and Copyright Day is celebrated on 23 April each year to recognise the importance of books and authors, and to encourage everyone to read books.
DistrictMail & Helderberg Gazette is calling attention to the importance of reading by giving away a copy of one of these books to a lucky reader, who is implored to join in the celebration of World Book Day by honing their reading skills!
