The local restaurant branch generously sponsored their renowned burgers and chips, delighting all the fortunate individuals present. Unit manager Gregory Young expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate gesture extended towards the elderly and their community. It was a day filled with delicious Spur food, laughter, and music and everyone revelled in the festive atmosphere. The Helderberg Rotary Anns gave their Mandela Day time over to Mama Themba, helping to sorting some donated items. To boot, one of their loyal knitters and a member of the Helderberg Manor Craft Club came along to lend a hand. Numerous items were donated to the community organisation, which offers supplemental education and support services to new mothers with incredibly limited resources, and is one of the many the Rotary Anns have opened their hearts to for support on an ongoing basis.
