The first “Fun Workshop Day” for Young Bafana Soccer Academy, in collaboration with personal health company Kenvue, took place on Tuesday 11 July.
In bright sunshine all the players, girls and boys regardless of their age group, came together at the academy.
The day was dedicated to the themes of football, recycling, healthy living and reducing inequalities.
In various workshops the participants had the opportunity to demonstrate their football skills together with the dedicated employees of Kenvue and at the same time gain an insight into conscious living.
After a short lunch break and a delicious lunch, the players continued with a final football match between Kenvue employees and Young Bafana players.
After the fun-filled game, a small award ceremony took place where the top five players from the workshop were rewarded with a brand new football in recognition of their outstanding performance.
The beaming faces of the young players and the proud parents in the audience was a touching moment that was captured throughout the day.
Entertainment and music by Rasta Lunga, delicious food and lots of good humour all contributed to a very successful day of fun and learning.
The Young Bafana Soccer Academy would like to thank everyone who made this unique day possible.
