The Macassar police are calling on the community to come forward and step up to the plate as volunteers sorely needed for its Victim Support Room.
Interested individuals will be required to assist in the day-to-day running of the community-service facility.
Applicants are welcome to contact the office and, importantly, have a clear criminal record.
They must also be willing to work voluntarily and be available when needed.
Other important traits are trustworthiness and the ability to maintain the confidentiality required of highly sensitive information.
