Mondeor Eco Primary School athletes showed their mettle at the annual inter-schools held at Hottentots Holland High School on Friday 2 February. The much-anticipated event took place in scorching hot weather conditions and kicked off with young Mondeor athletes competing against Helderberg International School, El Marine Primary School and Generation Somerset West. In a thrilling show of athletic prowess, Mondeor emerged victorious, claiming the coveted 2024 athletics primary schools cup. The afternoon instalment saw the high schoolers of Mondeor, Helderberg International School and Generation battle it out for title honours. Sweet victory was Mondeor’s once more as they not only kept up their three-year winning streak, but also clinched the spirit cup which will be added to their trophy collection.
