Tarryn Smith (receptionist), Monica Buitendag (CEO) and Ulen Afrika (social worker and volunteer coordinator) proudly celebrated the facility’s milestone.
Monica Buitendag (Heartlands CEO), Magrieta Erasmus, Sylvia Kotze (facility manager) and Eugénie Smith were the proud recipients of certificates marking their ninth year as dedicated members of the Heartlands Baby Sanctuary team.
Macassar husband-and-wife-duo Jurie and Sureta Adendorf popped into the facility’s second-hand store for good-condition preloved books which they resell at a market in Franschhoek. The business couple will also be in book-sale action at the upcoming Franschhoek Literary Festival.
