Rheinmetall Denel-Munition (RDM) has shown its commitment to youth development by donating 90 care packages to a local field band that recently competed in the national championships, held at Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Wednesday 25 September.
There the talented group of young musicians from around the Helderberg achieved a commendable third-place finish and won additional trophies.
The field band practices diligently every Tuesday and Thursday, thanks to the dedication of their project officer, Peter Wonci, and the steering committee, who work tirelessly to ensure the young musicians have the necessary instruments and support to excel in their craft.
