SCHOOLS: Boosting career confidence among learners

Action Volunteers Africa (AVA) is empowering youth to make informed career decisions through the Mobile Career Café (MCC), which was hosted with 80 Grade 11 learners from Nomzamo High School in Strand earlier this month (October). The sessions focused on career development, an online career profiler test, and goal setting, which are crucial as they plan their lives beyond school. The evaluation conducted after the event revealed the following: 90% of participants felt they now knew what steps to take to achieve their career goals
