The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will visit Lwandle Community Hall on Friday 27 February.

Lwandle residents can access essential City of Cape Town services without travelling to municipal offices this week, when the municipality’s Mobile Office visits the local community.

The Mobile Office will be stationed at the Lwandle Community Hall in Vulindlela Street this Friday (27 February) from 09:30 to 13:30, bringing municipal services directly to residents’ doorsteps. It will enable residents to resolve account queries and access various City services without the usual commute to municipal offices.

The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically, focusing on rates, water, electricity and refuse account issues.

“These mobile office visits bring essential municipal support to residents’ doorsteps,” said Theresa Uys, Mayoral Committee member for Corporate Services. “This is a great opportunity for residents to resolve their non-emergency enquiries, including rates, water, electricity and refuse accounts in the comfort of their own neighbourhoods.”

To ensure efficient service delivery, residents are encouraged to take along their IDs or municipal accounts to help the City teams assist them effectively.

The Mobile Office initiative is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to make municipal services more accessible to communities across the metro, particularly in areas where residents face challenges accessing central municipal offices.

Residents with non-emergency municipal queries are encouraged to take advantage of this convenient opportunity to resolve their concerns locally.
