The school, its staff and learners have used its community outreach projects, under the leadership and guidance of teacher Edna Ytier, to support the Rotary Anns. Lately, some of the learners have also assisted with the sorting and packing of the many items donated by the parents and learners ready for distribution by the Rotary Anns to the most needy in the community. In recognition of her outstanding leadership, enthusiastic dedication and ongoing commitment to the community, Ytier was recently awarded a Rotary Community Service Award.
