Vir haar is dit nie net beelde nie – dis haar kinders. Ná sy dood dreig die wêreld om selfs dit van haar weg te neem. ’n Ontroerende reis oor dieper verlange en onwrikbare liefde. Engel se wêreld van verbeelding bots met realiteit wanneer ander haar kinders as museumstukke begin sien. Die stuk vra vrae oor wat dit beteken om ’n ma te wees, selfs sonder biologiese kinders, en hoe rou en herinnering verweef raak in die alledaagse.
