BLOEMFONTEIN. The police in Heidedal are looking for information after the body of an unknown male was found at the wastewater plant in Oos-Einde.
The discovery was reported on Tuesday, 22 July, at approximately 12:15. According to the report, Heidedal police responded to a complaint about a body seen in the water at the sanitation plant.
Upon arrival, the police found the body of an unknown African male lying on his back, with half of the body submerged in water. The man was dressed in a black top and black trousers. Emergency medical services (EMS) personnel arrived on the scene and declared the individual dead.
The identity and age of the deceased are currently unknown.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have information that can assist in identifying the man or provide any leads relating to the circumstances surrounding his death.
