BLOEMFONTEIN – The funeral service of Dr Bandile Dabula (38), a specialist at the Busamed Bram Fischer Private Hospital, will take place on Wednesday 23 September.
Capt. Loraine Earl, spokesperson for the police in the Free State, said an inquest was opened after a body was found at Rooidam outside Lourierpark on Friday 18 September.

Earl said the body was found by members of the Community Policing Forum (CPF) patrolling the area close to Lourierpark at 23:00. The body was found with a gunshot wound to the head inside a black Ford Ranger.
Earl said no foul play is suspected.
Dabula was a urologist with chambers in the Busamed Hospital. In the funeral invitation, he was described as a dedicated urologist, a devoted husband, and a loving father.
His clinical interests spanned a wide range of urological conditions and procedures.
The funeral will take place at the Pelonomi Tertiary Hospital Chapel at 12:00.
