Letter to the editor:

Recently, while travelling with my husband to our vacation spot, we experienced unexpected car trouble.

Stranded on the roadside for some time, we were helped by two incredible officers from the Pretoria Flying Squad — Sergeant Sefatsa and Sergeant Mohoseji.

In a time when trust often feels fragile and stories of negativity dominate the news, these officers reminded us of the goodness that still exists in the world.

Their kindness and humanity turned what could have been a stressful and even dangerous situation into a powerful reminder of God’s hand of protection and grace.

We are deeply grateful to Sergeant Sefatsa and Sergeant Mohoseji, not only for their assistance, but for the way they served with dignity, humility, and compassion. It’s moments like these that remind us to never lose faith in humanity and to celebrate the men and women in uniform who go above and beyond for ordinary South Africans.

This feel-good story is a testament to the fact that there are still angels among us — some wearing SAPS uniforms.

I hope to share this news to spread gratitude and inspire others.
