WELKOM – Local DJ and music producer DJ Taaibos has released a new house single titled “Saseka”, marking another milestone in his growing international career.
The single has been released under Verseone Distribution, an American-based international music distribution company.
This follows the success of DJ Taaibos’s previous single “Our Time (Pt 1 of 2)”, which performed well internationally and earned the Welkom artist a nomination in the Internet and Streaming DJ of the Year category at the annual SEAs awards in Atlanta, United States, in May 2025.
For “Saseka”, DJ Taaibos collaborated with fellow Welkom talent Andrea de Beatboxer, a music producer and vocalist who previously reached the finals of SABC 1’s “Can Do Show”.
The single also features Thabo “Bundle of Joy” Mokone, a well-known national DJ and radio presenter who hosts Lesedi FM’s popular “Re Ya Thella Afternoon Drive Show”.
The title “Saseka” derives from Tsonga/Shangaan language, meaning “Beautiful” or “Beauty”, reflecting the artist’s connection to South African cultural heritage.
