JOHANNESBURG – Two persons of interest have been identified and taken in for questioning following the fatal shooting of well-known South African radio personality Warrick Stock, better known as DJ Warras, in the Johannesburg CBD on 16 December.
According to a statement released by the SAPS, the team tasked to investigate the murder of DJ Warras, led by the Gauteng Serious and Violent Crime Investigation unit, picked up two suspects this morning (22 December) from a hostel in Soweto.
“Investigations are continuing and the team is following all possible leads in a quest to solve this case,” the statement read.
As previously reported, the 40-year-old former 5FM presenter and Cliff Central host was confirmed dead following a shooting incident that occurred in the city centre during peak afternoon hours.
