BLOEMFONTEIN. The Proteas men’s national cricket team’s celebratory tour of their ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 victory is in full swing, with the team visiting five South African provinces. Dubbed the Menace Tour, the celebration came three months after the team’s captain, Temba Bavuma, and company claimed the coveted trophy at Lord’s Cricket Ground in the United Kingdom (UK).

They conquered the test arena after beating Australia by five wickets to win their maiden championship. Cricket South Africa (CSA), the Proteas players, and the team’s management invite supporters to come out in numbers to meet the World Test Champions.

The victory parade will end tomorrow – Friday, 26 September – in Cape Town, giving fans a chance to line the streets and salute South Africa’s cricket heroes. The victorious Proteas kicked off the tour on Tuesday, 23 September, in Kimberley, Northern Cape, and proceeded to Free State capital Bloemfontein to display the trophy.
