Kairos Outreach Ministries held its youth camp at the Saldanha Military Academy.
The camp took place between Thursday 7 and Sunday 10 July.
About 10 children between 15 and 19 years old attended the camp.
Its purpose was to teach the importance of discipline, leadership, self-respect, respect for others and so much more through different activities.
The facilitators at this camp were Major Beverley Geldenhuys, Sergeant Marklo Adendorff, Warrant Officer Anton Prinsloo and Private Anrich October.
Geldenhuys said the camp was a huge success, stressing how important these are for empowering citizens of the future. “We have to equip them with the necessary tools to become great leaders in our country,” she concluded.
