Excitement is building as the 22nd LCE Weskus Marathon is set to take place on the Saturday 16 March, promising a day filled with exhilarating competition and community spirit. For this year’s event, the total prize money is R100 000, proudly sponsored by Tronox.

To secure your spot in this ever-growing marathon, participants can conveniently register online at www.weskusmarathon.co.za or visit any Pick n Pay store. For those looking to join the 5 km fun run, registrations will be accepted exclusively at the Langebaan registration.

The LCE Weskus Marathon holds the distinction of being a Two Oceans Ultra and Comrades qualifier. Whether you’re an experienced marathon runner aiming for a personal best or a newcomer with dreams of dominating longer distances, this marathon caters to all.

Registration starts on the 15th at Langebaan Country Estate from 16:00 to 20:00. Alternatively, participants can register at Sportsman’s Warehouse Tyger Valley from 12:00 to 18:00 on the same day. Registration on 16 March opens at 03:30 and continues until 04:40 for the marathon, and from 04:30 until 30 minutes before the start for the half marathon and 10 km.

Fill up for the race with a Pasta and Pizza evening available at LCE on 15 March from 16:00 onwards. On the day of the marathon, support the runners at Langebaan Country Estate, where several food and drink stalls will be available, ensuring a lekker Weskus atmosphere for both participants and spectators.
