The Electoral Commission (IEC) Western Cape will conduct a by-election on Wednesday 19 March.
It will take place in Saldanha Bay, Ward 1.
Candidate nomination for Ward 1 opened on Friday 7 February and the cut-off for submissions of nominations is on Monday 24 February at 17:00.
Parties and independent candidates must submit all required documents and pay the election deposit to contest before the cut-off date.
Manual submissions of candidate nominations are only at the IEC office at 19B School Street, Vredenburg.
Parties or independents who have registered with the IEC’s Online Candidate Nomination System (OCNS) can capture and manage nomination, documentation and make payments online.
