The Vredenburg Tennis Club Ladies’ first team was recently named the winners of the South Boland Doubles in the second division.
They beat Vlottenburg in what was described as an epic showdown, that took place in Malmesbury. Team captain Janome Miggel says hard work throughout the season and dedication was the key to their success.
Vredenburg’s Mens A team came 7th in the new format Open Singles Division 3 that was captained by Mario Roelf. The B-team came 11th in the Double 2nd Division,which was captained by Charl Jooste.
Overall the Club is proud of their teams and their performance and look forward to improving next season and delivering even better results.
