Swimmers can now register for the annual Velddrif Mile Swim which takes place at Port Owen.
On Saturday 12 November, swimmers ready to brave the waters can take part in either of the 1,6 km or 3 km races. For those looking for a shorter swim there is the 500 m route, suitable for swimmers of all ages and fitness levels.
All participants must register, at their starting points, at 07:00.
The best-dressed swimmer will also receive a prize. Entries are open until Monday 31 October.
