Residents, visitors and air show enthusiasts can get ready for a spectacle of aircraft taking flight on Saturday 1 October when the West Coast will launch its inaugural Saldanha Bay Air Show at the Saldanha/Vredenburg Airport. In addition to flying displays much like the one pictured of a L39 Albatros – a former military fighter jet, with aviator Dave Mandel in the cockpit, there will also be exhibitions, drone demonstrations, model planes, drag and drone racing, and much more.
