“Inclusion matters” is the slogan for Siyabonga Care Village in Vredenburg.
This was exhibited at a talent show hosted by three of the disability programmes that fall under Siyabonga Village, namely Protective Workshop for Disabled Youth, 2Care Day Care Centre for Adults with Disabilities and Huis Natachia.
The purpose of the talent show was to showcase the vast talent those with disabilities have. The talent show also served as a fundraiser for running costs for transport, meals and more. About 60 people with disabilities participated in the talent show and performed dance, singing, drama and more.
Natachia Williams, coordinator of the programmes, said she was planning to have future events such as these.
