Rugby enthusiasts can gear up for a weekend of full-paced rugby action at the sixth annual Saldanha Super 8 Easter Rugby Tournament taking place between Thursday 17 and Monday 21 April at the Transnet Saldanha Stadium.
With much suspense and excitement the highly anticipated draw determined that the host Saldanha Rugby Club will go head-to-head with Villagers Worcester, Tygerberg with Hamiltons, Multisure Evergreens with Northam Rhinos and Blanco United with Kruisfontein, all competing for the Louis Scheepers Trophy.
Entry is R40 per day, R20 for children between 7 and 13, R20 for pensioners with ID cards and R10 per vehicle.
The tournament will be broadcasted on SuperSport.
• On Saturday 19 April the Easter Tournament for the Mayoral Rugby Cup is taking place in Piketberg at Rhino’s Park. Ten teams from within the
Bergrivier will be participating.
Entry is R30 per person and R10 per vehicle. Gates open at 08:00.
