Sea cadets help distribute sanitary pads among local schools

Diazville High School received a visit from the Training Ship (TS) Saldanha Sea Cadet Unit on Monday 28 August. The visit formed part of its new outreach programme that will take place on a monthly basis. Each cadet donated R10 for the sanitary-pad initiative for Women’s Month. The aim was to distribute sanitary pads to all the schools in Saldanha and Vredenburg. The cadets personally went to each school to hand the sanitary pads over.
