Learning to grow food at Steenberg’s Cove Primary

The Soil for Life organisation based in Cape Town visited Steenberg’s Cove Primary School in St Helena Bay to teach volunteers more about growing their own food. The volunteers received a theory lesson and also got their hands dirty by planting vegetables and seeds themselves. The growing of vegetables has been implemented at the school. Soil for Life aims to assist people to live healthier and more sustainable lives.
