On Saturday 13 November, Curro Langebaan learners competed in the Top Schools Chess tournament in Porterville. All three teams competed and did brilliantly. The u-9 and u-11 teams both finished in second place in their age groups. The u-13 players won their section of the tournament and brought home gold. With the learners behind are teachers Natasha Opperman (left) and Sonya Fouche (right).
