Curro Langebaan is extremely proud of Ethan Deysel, who will compete in the game Rocket League at the Intel World Open, a precursor to the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

Rocket League, a soccer video game, is supported by the International Olympics Committee, and will be showcased at the games.

Ethan and his two other South African teammates, playing under Orlando Pirates Exdee, won Africa’s only spot by winning the qualifier, and will represent South Africa and Africa against other countries from Sunday 11 July to Wednesday 14 July. The Intel World Open would’ve taken place in Poland in 2020, but will be online in 2021 due to Covid-19. Curro wishes Ethan and his teammates the very best of luck.
