Pomario learners see ‘Othello’ at Cape Town’s Baxter Theatre

The Grade 7 to 9 learners from Pomario Private School recently visited The Baxter Theatre in Rondebosch, Cape Town to see an enthralling performance of Shakespeare’s Othello. The students thoroughly enjoyed each act and were captivated by performances from the cast. But the excitement did not end there! The learners could not wait to meet the actors after the show. They were thrilled to have the chance to take pictures with the actors playing Othello and Emilia, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The Baxter visit allowed the learners to experience the magic of live theatre and helped them develop a deeper appreciation of literature and the arts. The school is grateful to the theatre for hosting such an event and look forward to more such opportunities in future.
