World Book Day was celebrated on Tuesday 23 April, and the learners of Pomario Private School dressed-up as their favourite book characters, immersing themselves in stories and creating a love for literature. The school thanks Tammy le Roux for generously donating a complete set of The Secret Seven books. “Your support in promoting reading among parents is truly appreciated,” the school stated. “Together, we can inspire a love for literature in our children and create a brighter future for them.” Pictured are Isis Dorfling (Mrs Wormwood), Paula Oberholzer (Matilda), Cameron Williams (Batgirl) and Zanrie Ferreira (Queen of Hearts).
