In celebration of V-Day, a global activist movement, a number of youth around the province gathered to showcase what the youth struggle with in today’s life. In collaboration with One Billion Rising (OBR), 30 youngsters from the West Coast represented OBR at the event hosted in Wynberg. The theme for 2023 is “Rise for freedom and to create new culture.” Youth from the West Coast showcased the struggles of young people through dance, play and music. They also had the opportunity to network and share experiences.
