Three boxers from the Saldanha Military Academy were chosen to compete and represent the Western Cape in the 2024 Championship Series. They brought back the trophy for the fourth-best region in the province as well as some medals. Samkele Mbese won a silver medal, Tsotello Nenzinane also won silver and is officially ranked a championship fighter and #2 light-heavyweight in the Western Cape, and Mighty Sangoni won the gold medal and will go to the nationals from Wednesday 3 until Saturday 6 July.
