The West Coast South African National Defence Force (SANDF) netball team triumphed SANDF Netball Championships 2022 in Cape Town.
The final score of West Coast (WC) against South Eastern Cape (SEC) was 33-29.
Four local players were selected to play for the SANDF National Team. Sonia Ferreira (F), Marlize Henderson (F), Papi Ramahotsoa (M) and Emile Dick (M) are now part of the national team.
Estie Wiese was the best shooter of the tournament and the best overall player of the tournament’s Senior B Category.
The team expressed their appreciation to their coach, who worked with them throughout and availed herself to the team as they ultimately became the champions in their category.
