To aid those in need, the Shoprite Supermarket Group, Vredenburg Security Business Forum, Vredenburg Community Policing Forum and Weskus Helpers are coming together to make a difference.

They plan to host a soup kitchen, for which dedicated volunteers will prepare and serve hot and delicious soups, lovingly made from fresh ingredients generously donated by Shoprite.

The Vredenburg Security Business Forum, together with police, will ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all the beneficiaries, where everyone’s well-being is prioritised.

Sammy Springleer, chairperson of the Vredenburg Security Business Forum, said this incredible initiative is an opportunity for everyone to come together as a community and lend a helping hand to those who need it most.

“Let’s make a difference, one cup at a time,” Springleer added.

Collection points are as follow:. Shoprite parking lot in Plein Street, Vredenburg between 11:00 and 12:30. Usave Louwville between 12:45 and 14:15. OK Mini Market between 14:30 and 15:45
