The Langebaan Country Estate (LCE) half-marathon is back.

This Saturday (21 October) athletes will take on the 21,1 km half-marathon, the 10 km or the 5 km fun run/walk.

All routes start and end at LCE’s driving range.

Refreshment stations will be at every 3 km. Part of the 21 km and 10 km races will include the beautiful West Coast National Park with all its Spring flowers and the gruelling “Black Mamba” as runners head back to LCE. Late entries and number collection take place at the LCE clubhouse between 16:00 and 20:00 tomorrow (Friday) and from 05:00 on Saturday.

The 21 km (R130) starts at 07:00 with the 10 km race an half hour later and the 5 km fun walk starts at 08:00.

BoutTime will ensure instant results on athletes’ phones, on its website and electronic result boards at the finish, with no more waiting.

Schools should also enter their learners to take part as the school with the most entries will receive a trophy and R2 500.

Family members and support must be sure to come along as there will be various fun activities and delightful refreshment stalls.
