Langebaan Thusong and Hearts of Hope host gathering

Hearts of Hope, an organisation based in Langebaan, hosted a gathering with guest speaker Sirene Paulse on Tuesday 20 August at the Langebaan Thusong Centre. She shared more about her journey with a rare neurological disorder that left her paralysed. This prompted her to write a book titled 72 Hours Changed My Entire Life, which she also shared insights about. The programme was facilitated by Esmarelda Mckay from Government Communication Information System West Coast. “The day was very fruitful and some of the women shared their journey with cancer,” she said. “We hope to have more of these types of programmes to create support for women in general at Langebaan Thusong.”Foto:
