The first Weskus Street Mile Series in the streets of Langebaan is well underway.
The Langebaan Athletics Club (LAC) is the host of the event. The next day is this Saturday, 1 July, and the grand finale will be on 8 July.
Participants who have taken part in the run have made history, as this is the first event locally of its kind. The age group categories vary from 9 years old to master athletes up to 70+ and the athletes certainly have been busy.
