The National Pathway Management Networks’ Jobs Fund team made a site visit to the Genesis Hub.

The National Pathway Management Networks’ Jobs Fund team recently conducted a site visit at the Genesis Hub in Louwville.

The visit took place on Monday 14 November.

Allison van der Walt, Manager of the Genesis Hub, together with her team, welcomed the Jobs Fund team by starting off with an introduction and later presented the progress and statistics of the seven programmes namely Automotive Academy, Culinary Academy, Drone Academy, Genesis Farms, Hair and Nail Academy, Small Business Centre, and Textile Academy.

The team was taken on a tour to show them the operations within the different programmes and to meet the programme managers and the youth.

Members of the Jobs Fund team grabbed the opportunity to get to know the youth by engaging with them and build conversations based on their skills they’re developing and future milestones after the 12-month journey at the Genesis Hub.

After a wonderful day spent at the hub the team were seated at the hub’s SMAAK restaurant for a tasty meal and some refreshments.
