The South African Football Association West Coast (Safa) were the hosts of the Kay Motsepe Cup for u-14 boys and girls and u-19 boys Saturday 26 August at the Eric Goldsmith Complex.
It was a great experience for the learners because the standard of school football on the West Coast is very high.
The mission of Safa West Coast is to invest in school soccer and to make sure the sport is played by most schools in the West Coast region.
The champions of u-19 boys soccer were Louwville High school, who won against Vredendal Secondary School by 3-2.
Masiphathisane Primary School were the champions of the u-14 for both boys and girls. The boys won against Koekenaap Primary School by 2-1 and the girls beat Vooruitsig Primary School by 1-0.
Congratulations goes to Masiphathisane Primary and Louwville High school, as well as best wishes for the provincial finals.
