The u-14 soccer team from Masiphatisane Primary School took part in a soccer tournament during the second term. With hard work and perseverance they made it through to the National PAN Africa Championships, which will take place in Kempton Park and Benoni in Gauteng between Monday 11 and Friday 15 July. René Joorst, principal of the school, says many of the learners come from financially challenged households and need assistance with soccer boots, toiletries and tracksuits for their trip. Should you wish to help these aspiring soccer players, please contact Joorst on 022 715 1896.
