Visitors and locals can look forward to a fun-filled weekend at the Langebaan Rotary Fiesta and West Coast Car Show.

The three-day event will start on Friday 21 January until Sunday 23 January at the Langebaan beachfront and Curro Langebaan sports field.

Les Geater of Langebaan Rotary says as the school holidays have come to an end this is another opportunity for people to come together and support the town.

The vision and mission of the event is to give Langebaan a tourism and commercial boost and to showcase what Langebaan and its surroundings have to offer. A number of community organisations and businesses will also be exhibiting what they have to offer.

On Sunday 22 January a vintage cars procession will take place along the main roads of Langebaan. There will also be a pop-up market at the Langebaan Civic Hall with fresh produce and foods on sale. For the water enthusiasts there will be a 1 km fun swim, a NSRI demo, sand castle competition and more.

Car lovers can enjoy the West Coast Car Show at the Curro Langebaan sports field organised by Peter Lindenberg, a local resident and top South African sportsman and motor industry stalwart.

Visitors to the show will be treated to a vast selection of motor cars from classics to sports cars to new vehicles as well as motorbikes, beach buggies, hot rods and competition cars.

Funds will also be raised for Langebaan Rotary who in turn supports local community organisations. Other local beneficiaries will also benefit such as Team Langebaan Neighbourhood Watch and the Feed the Need Campaign.
