Fashion show reinforces positive self-imaging

A successful fashion show was hosted by Alexis Model School on Saturday 27 April in Vredenburg. On the theme “empowerment”, the event emphasised body positivity, confidence and everything else that conveys a positive self-image. A total of 11 models walked the runway showcasing the clothing of six designers. Alexis Raymond, founder of the modelling school said the models enjoyed everything from the beginning to the end. “From hair, make-up, rehearsals, the opening routine and walking in the clothing of the designers.” As mentioned before, the aim of the fashion show was also to raise funds to get the youth a step closer into the modelling industry and to reach their dreams. Pictured are Sinesipho Kim Govuza (Miss Globe South Africa 2021), Delicia Timmie (Designs by Delicia), Alexis Raymond (founder of Alexis Model School) and Jamie King (master of ceremonies for the evening).
