The Picnic on the Bay event at the Saldanha Bay Hotel is back for the fourth time.
This is also the last one for this year, for there are lots guests can look forward to.
Chantelle Lawson, Marketing Manager of the Saldanha Bay Hotel, said with each successive one the hotel always tries to take things to the next level. “That said, as home to the West Coast, our event starts off with a taste of oysters and bubbly along with beautiful tranquil views of the bay,” she says.
Chefs Eugene Johnson and Allistair Fry along with their team will prepare a delicious picnic basket filled with amazing treats. “We will end off on a high note from live entertainment with artists Miles Entertainment, Dawid van der Merwe, Don Vino, Jarred Ricketts and a surprise guest artist.” The master of ceremonies will be Iemie from “Life with Iemie”.
What makes this year’s Picnic on the Bay more exciting is that there will be an after-party until 23:00, with DJ Chad for guests that want to get their groove on.
Lawson adds one of the first 100 guests will stand a chance to win a one-night accommodation with breakfast for two at the hotel.
“Our vision is to bring more events and activities for locals on the West Coast because there are not a lot of things to do in the area,” she said. “Our mission is to grow the event to become a quarterly feature each year at the Hotel.”
