Aqeelah Harron may be known best for her taste in fashion, but she also knows her way around the kitchen. Try this easy mayonnaise marinated chicken.

Ingredients

. 1 kg Chicken

. 1 tsp Himalayan Salt

. 1 tsp black pepper

. 1 tsp Chilli flakes

. 2 cloves of garlic

. 4 tbsp Hellmann’s mayonnaise

Method:

Generously season chicken with salt and pepper.

Add chilli flakes or fresh chilli (amount according to preference).

Add one tablespoon of garlic for every kilo of chicken.

Add four tablespoons of mayonnaise for every kilo of chicken.

Mix thoroughly and cook in the oven for 30 min at 200 °C.

Mayo artichoke and spinach dip

Ingredients

1 pkt creamed spinach

1 jar artichoke hearts

1 tub medium fat cream cheese

1 tub sour cream

3 large scoops mayonnaise

1/3 cup grated parmesan (and extra for sprinkling on top)

salt and pepper

chili flakes (optional)

Method

Mix all ingredients together and bake for 30 min at 180 °C.

Serve it with home-made melba toast.
