As councillor of the Saldanha Bay Municipality ANC Caucus I would like to thank Paul of Nautical X, the Minty brothers at Sweet Bonanza and Harry Lu for their generosity in donating the 400 hotdogs, cold drinks and juices to the cancer-awareness programme and to the entire staff and patients/residents of the Siyabonga homes.
We did this in honour of my husband, Paul Rossouw, who survived Stage 3 rectal cancer, our granddaughter Catherina, who survived endometrial cancer, my sister Charmaine, who succumbed to colorectal cancer and three veterans who passed away of covid, cancer and dread disease, and in honour of Councillor Arthur Gqeba, who was assassinated on 15 September.
One of the veterans, Petrus Mitchell, was taken care of at Siyabonga in his final days.
Thank you to these organisations that render service to those in need of care. Your service is valued with sincere appreciation. Our support in the most vulnerable times of our lives, your staff had a lovely time participating in both programmes. Much love and appreciation.
