Trying to make every girl feel like a princess at her matric ball is the vision of Heavenly Haven Retreat, and to this end it has established “A Cinderella Story” project.
The project was launched at Laguna Mall in Langebaan on Saturday 9 March. According to Ruth McPherson of Heavenly Haven Retreat the project means a lot as it aligns with its core values of community support and inclusivity. “By providing gowns at no cost the aim is to alleviate any financial burden learners may face and make this milestone moment accessible to all,” she explained.
McPherson said the launch was a huge success, exceeding their expectations in every way. “From the moment guests arrived the atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation,” she said. “The warm welcome by our team, engaging speeches by our esteemed guests, and the unveiling of our partnerships and initiatives all contributed to an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.”
It was also amazing for her to see the support and interaction of the community. As part of this initiative a Ms Cinderella 2024 has been appointed spokesperson for the initiative and raise awareness. She will also visit schools and businesses to talk about the project.
“Furthermore, the presence of our sponsors and dignitaries has added prestige to the event and underscored the importance of our collective efforts. Their support and involvement are instrumental in making ‘A Cinderella Story’ a resounding success.”
