All-rounder does it again!

Tashnique Jones, a Grade 9 learner at Vredenburg High School, has made her school proud. The school had a prize giving ceremony on Wednesday 1 February, when Jones received the trophy for the best girl athlete. She also took home the achievement for Creative Arts, Afrikaans, Economics and other subjects. At the athletics this year Jones came in first in the 100 m, 200 m, 90 m hurdles, long jump and relay. At the Weskus High School Athletics on Friday 3 February she did it again and came first in the 200 m, 100 m and 90 m hurdles. She also won the medal for the best u-15 girl athlete.
