Die Koelkamers brings you its first children’s theatre for 2023!
A tour de force from movement performance artist Liam Tamejen Gillespie, Can’t Stand Still tells of a young man living in a colourless world without music stumbling on a radio one day on his way home from school.
At first he is confused by the sounds coming from the device and the effect it has on him. On hearing the music he just can’t stand still. Thrilled by his new discovery of dance, Liam wants to spread the joy and tell everyone about the power music has.
The story is told mostly through dance by Gillespie and is choreographed by him. It was written by Kimberley Buckle.
The show takes place on Saturday 14 December at 11:00 and 14:00. Tickets are R100. To make your booking visit www.diekoelkamers.com.
